Laptops or fee waiver scholarships are given to those Cadets who secure more than 90% marks in Board Exams.

Every year, in the final week of December, an open competitive exams are held in College campus, Islamabad / Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, and Karachi for Class VI that consists of three examinations (Mathematics, English, and Urdu). However, pupils in Classes VII, VIII, IX, and XI would also take a General Science/Science Subject paper in addition to Math, English, and Urdu. Each paper has a one-hour time limit. The College entrance examination is a challenging test that requires hard work and dedication.The syllabus provided on our website is meant as a general guide for candidates, and any question that may be applicable can be asked in any paper in any form. Admission to Cadet College Fateh Jang opens every year in August for the 6th, 7th, 8th & 9th, and in May for 11th Class. The entrance exam and interview are held in the second week of December each year. Admission is solely merit-baset, and students from across Pakistan and abroad are encouraged to apply. The results are confidential, and the Selection Committee criteria are final.

For admission to any class at Cadet College Fateh Jang, a candidate must either be currently studying in that class or have passed the previous class with at least 65% marks at the time of applying. The maximum age of the candidate at the time of applying for admission is as follows, as per the college policy for cadets seeking admission to the top cadet college in the region.
