The bedding at Cadet College Fateh Jang consists of beds together with mattresses and pillows and pillowcases and bedsheets which are provided to all cadets. Parents need to provide their children with blankets or comforters because the college does not distribute these items. Every room in the cadet housing features study equipment that includes a table together with a chair.

Lunch at Cadet College Fateh Jang is delivered on schedule followed by an allocated period of free time for cadets. A new film plays in the college theater during Saturday evening shows to provide entertainment for students. The cadets receive scheduled tests during every term with Monday morning being the designated test day. The cadets use their Sunday by taking rest or studying or by participating in outdoor activities such as hiking. The parents have the right to ask for one monthly break period for their children.

Parents of cadets can schedule visits to the college on both week and weekend days by obtaining approval from Housemaster or Vice Principal first. The college limits parental visits to the first month of cadet admission for their better assimilation into the college routine and cultural norms.

Cadet College Fateh Jang is for Boys only. Students can receive education at Cadet College Fateh Jang from Class 6th to 12th within its curriculum. The institution dedicates itself to building character along with teaching discipline and fostering academic achievement. (b) Late Mushtaq Ahmed Sipra Memorial Merit –

Rs. 2500/- P.M. Scholarship to be given to the best college student of the year.

(c) Chairman Discretionary Fund –

Laptops or fee waiver scholarships are given to those Cadets who secure more than 90% marks in Board Exams.

Every year, in the final week of December, an open competitive exams are held in College campus, Islamabad / Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, and Karachi for Class VI that consists of three examinations (Mathematics, English, and Urdu). However, pupils in Classes VII, VIII, IX, and XI would also take a General Science/Science Subject paper in addition to Math, English, and Urdu. Each paper has a one-hour time limit. The syllabus for the admission test is available on the website and in the prospectus. The College entrance examination is a challenging test that requires hard work and dedication.The syllabus provided on our website is meant as a general guide for candidates, and any question that may be applicable can be asked in any paper in any form. Admission to Cadet College Fateh Jang opens every year in August for the 6th, 7th, 8th & 9th, and in May for 11th Class. The entrance exam and interview are held in the second week of December each year. Admission is solely merit-baset, and students from across Pakistan and abroad are encouraged to apply. The results are confidential, and the Selection Committee criteria are final.

As the only registered and recognized cadet college in Fateh Jang, it stands as a premier educational institution in the Islamabad and Rawalpindi areas. We do not have any other branches or campuses in Fateh Jang or elsewhere in Pakistan.
For admission to any class at Cadet College Fateh Jang, a candidate must either be currently studying in that class or have passed the previous class with at least 65% marks at the time of applying. The maximum age of the candidate at the time of applying for admission is as follows, as per the college policy for cadets seeking admission to the top cadet college in the region.
